Page rotation written into the file, not just the view.

How to use it

  1. 1Add the PDF.
  2. 2Pick the turn — 90 clockwise, 180 or 90 anticlockwise — and either apply it to every page or list specific ones.
  3. 3Rotate and download.

Why the rotation in your reader does not stick

Rotating a page in most PDF viewers changes the view, not the file. Send it on and the recipient sees it sideways again. This tool writes the rotation into each page's /Rotate entry, so every viewer and every printer honours it.

Mixed orientations

Scans often have a handful of sideways pages among upright ones. Listing just those pages leaves the rest untouched — applying a blanket turn would put the good pages on their side.

Frequently asked questions

Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Nothing is re-encoded; only a rotation flag on each page changes.
Can I rotate by an arbitrary angle, like 5 degrees?
No. PDF page rotation is defined in 90-degree steps. Correcting a slight skew means re-rendering the page as an image, which the PDF compressor does but this tool deliberately does not.
