How to use it

How the merge is performed

Each source document is parsed and its pages are copied object by object into a new file. Page content, embedded fonts and vector graphics are carried across unchanged, so text stays selectable and print quality is identical to the originals.

Because pages are copied rather than re-rendered, the merged file is roughly the sum of the inputs. If the result is larger than an email limit, run it through the PDF compressor afterwards.

What does not survive a merge

Form fields, digital signatures and document-level JavaScript belong to the file that defined them and are not carried into the new document — a signature would be void the moment pages move anyway. Bookmarks and outlines are also dropped, since two documents' outlines cannot be reconciled reliably.

Password-protected files cannot be opened at all. Remove the password in your PDF reader first.

Frequently asked questions

How many files can I merge?
There is no fixed limit. Total size is bounded by your device's memory; several hundred pages is comfortable on a phone.
Can I merge in a different order later?
Yes — reordering is drag-and-drop before you merge, and you can re-run it as often as you like without re-adding the files.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. Parsing and writing happen in the tab, which you can verify by disconnecting from the network mid-task.
